CROSTPATHS
EXCITING NEW CROSSOVER CREW DETAIL EP PLANS & ANNOUNCE NEW SINGLE!
Unstoppable alt-metal crew CROSTPATHS continue their ascension with the launch of their sophomore EP, Mutated, out Friday 27th November. Before then, the nu-metalcore rapscallions have just unleashed an explosive new single, Rampage, check out the single here https://youtu.be/JXqS2-d82iA
Coming at you from Kent and born at the very end of 2018, CROSTPATHS made an early name for themselves with the release of last year’s self-titled debut EP. Tracks from the record spawned radio airplay via Total Rock and Hard Rock Radio and grass roots support poured in from many quarters. Taking cues from Papa Roach, Fever 333, and Linkin Park, CROSTPATHS have managed to astutely etch fresh imprints on the nu-metalcore genre.
Consisting of Ritchie Murray Jack (Lead Vox), Owain Lewis (Bass/Vox), Michael Edwards (Lead Guitars), and James Mason (Drums/Percussion), the emerging crew have recently signed to Enso Music Management and have collaborated with local artists including Dohny Jep, WeatherView and apatternimperfect to produce remixes of their self-titled EP. Recently, the band’s focus has firmly shifted to their thunderous new EP, Mutated. The record is a burly slice of alternative metal infused with killer breakdowns, monstrous riffs, rampant energy, and a plethora of hooks. Lead Vocalist, Ritchie Murray Jack remarks: "We wrote this high-octane material in late 2019 with the intention of a spring release to coincide with touring. Best laid plans eh? Sonically, it's all action, but lyrically the songs reflect a rollercoaster of emotions that many will be familiar with (especially now): anger, sorrow and stubborn defiance."
CROSTPATHS have a hatful of blistering singles and videos on the way and will tour the EP as soon as the world allows. Stay tuned to their social sites for constant updates.

My thoughts Rampage is a high energy track packed with monstrous riffs, a plethora of hooks, Crosspaths are not afraid to lay their cards on the table with this track and with a stunning breakdown in the middle of the track, it’s a track that touches on so many great bands from the likes of the Prodigy ,Hacktivist Papa Roach and Fever 333. No doubt one we can all get back to being at live shows this is a track that will be a live fan favourite
Not really knowing anything about the band I just feel this yet again is another band to keep eyes on because the beauty with music is anyone at anytime can pop up and showcase what they are about, if you ever hear people saying the scene is dead where is the next headliner for this festival, there are plenty of bands and artist out there some just need a platform and to be giving a chance to showcase what there about and just maybe Crosspaths are a band that could make the transition
Following a strong 2019, London-based rock and roll three-piece Come at The King ar e due to release their second studio EP ‘Take To The Streets’ on the 13th November.
Come At The King draw their influences from the blues-infused sounds of the early 00’s garage rock revival, blended with the big riffs, hooking choruses and swagger of the mid 90’s Britpop scene.
Inspired by the likes of Oasis and Arctic Monkeys, Take To The Streets - produced by Max Hopwood at London Road Studios and mastered by Philip Marsden, sees the band try to find the poetry in the mundane life of working-class towns in the shadow of big cities.
Very much a case of stick to what you know, the four-track EP explores the pursuit of romance, the tragic lives and small-mindedness of big egos in small towns and the unconditional admiration and respect of where you grew up.
Ahead of Take To The Streets’ release, sees the release of it’s leading single ‘In My Place’ on the 6th November.
Take To The Streets is due for release November 13th and will be available on all major platforms.

My thoughts Take to the streets is a strong release from Come At The King the EP packed with big hooks and melodic tones, this is an ep that takes inspiration from the past rock legends such as oasis and the stone roses as well as cues from Morden day giants like Biffy Clyro and kings of Leon and as well as creating its own unique path for you to be taken guided down
overall this is tied up into a perfect packaged of production and well written songs my personal highlight is the track overgrown which I have included in the episode as this offers a great insight into the writing and production of the EP .

LITTLE TRIGGERS new and single and release a brand new video for the new track ‘FEED ME’ 6 November 2020
Check out the single here https://youtu.be/SPpipaxDCUc
About the band
LITTLE TRIGGERS are two piece from Liverpool
With two Led by singer and guitarist Tom Hamilton and drummer Jay Radcliffe
ACCLAIMED BRIT ROCKERS REVEAL NEW VIDEO ‘FEED ME’!
LITTLE TRIGGERS have just released their strikingly provocative video, Feed Me - https://youtu.be/SPpipaxDCUc Targeted to depict cooperate consumerism, environmental neglect, and our government’s inaction to provide meals for the vulnerable, the video is a powerful and extremely relevant statement. The track lands on all streaming sites and platforms on Friday 6th November.
Emerging two-piece LITTLE TRIGGERS channel influences spanning from The Who through to Queens Of The Stone Age. Still in their early twenties, Tom Hamilton (lead vocals & guitars) and Jay Radcliffe (drums & backing vocals) have a maturity that surpasses their youth. To date, they have already toured throughout the UK, Europe and China, and have shared stages with the likes of Iggy Pop and Temples.
LITTLE TRIGGERS’ debut album, Loaded Gun, landed in 2019 and soon lit up the UK rock scene. Classic Rock Magazine backed the rocksters with a full-page feature, review and a position on the publication’s cover CD. Planet Rock playlisted the single, So Fine, for their New Rock Show, and the band picked up widespread support from Total Rock, BBC Introducing, and Louder, where they were awarded with two Track Of the Week slots. The rock ‘n’ roll newcomers also graced many Spotify curated prominent playlists, including All New Rock and Rock The World. Towards the end of the year, LITTLE TRIGGERS were once again featured in Classic Rock Magazine, appearing on their Cover CD. The new year started with a bang, and the twosome hit the road in February with a massively successful 12 date UK tour. After revising touring plans due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the duo turned their attention to writing and creating new material. This Spring, LITTLE TRIGGERS dropped Burn to enthusiastic support. Louder/Classic Rock Magazine again included the band as part of their Tracks Of The Week features, and Wyatt Wendels once more added the twosome to his esteemed New Rock Show on Planet Rock. The single also racked up critical acclaim from a slew of radio stations across the world, as well as adorning a glut of Spotify playlists.
The band now have another single on the horizon and it’s an out and out stunner. Boasting ferocious riffs, a killer hook and inspired by our societies’ rampant consumerism, Feed Me is a bold declaration. Tom Hamilton comments: "Feed Me is inspired by the failure of our leaders to protect our planet and its people from the rampant corporate greed that is at the root of issues such as hunger, poverty and racism. I wrote the song after watching TV and social media explode with anger and fear over the Summer. The main image I had was of the planet being eaten up by greed. It is hugely ironic that, as the single is being released, the UK is in the grip of a Government scandal over its refusal to feed our own children.” Tom adds: “That's why we have decided to donate all proceeds from the single to food bank charities in our home city of Liverpool."
With further singles, an EP, and tour dates penned for 2021, LITTLE TRIGGERS are primed to break out to the masses.

My thoughts
Feed me is packed with a 60-70’s sounding grove and riff a blistering opening, with just over 3 minutes of hooks and fun but, a strong melodic song, my personally highlight is the groovy blues backdown in the middle, overall a great track very well produced so much energy and fun.
Onto the next band
Onto our next
Glass Waves new single Do it again out now
About the band
RISING ALT-ROCKERS REVEAL NEW SINGLE & MORE!
Alt Rock newcomers GLASS WAVES have just dropped a firecracker of a single entitled Do It Again
Channeling influences from the likes of Don Broco and Queens of The Stone Age, through to Bring Me The Horizon, GLASS WAVES dispatch energetic alternative rock merged with captivating riffs and gloriously anthemic hooks. Based in Liverpool and North Wales, the newly formed fivesome consist of Bryn Williams (Lead Vocals / Synth), Tomos Gashe (Rhythm Guitar), Sion Jones (Lead guitar / Backing Vocals), Dewi Williams (Bass) and Sion Roberts (Drums). The crew originally bonded through their mutual desire to craft passionate music, framed by candid lyrics that examines real life topics that affect the world around us. Although this is a brand-new venture, all members from the band are seasoned musicians and have toured throughout the UK.
GLASS WAVES have just released their engrossing new single Do It Again. Recorded and produced by Rich James Roberts at his Ferlas Studio in Wales, the track has already attracted attention and support from BBC Introducing, Amazing Radio, a glut of websites, and has garnered strong grass roots radio airplay. The single has also been added to a plethora of Spotify playlists. The band comment about the track: “The story behind the song is about our own experience of mental health. The track is written about the experience of personal lows and breaking the stigma of mental health in men. As a whole, the band aren’t afraid of talking about the real issues going on in the world”. With further singles to follow in 2021 and the promise of a raft of UK shows for next year, GLASS WAVES are set to climb.

My thoughts
So will start by saying that whenever a new band from Liverpool pop up regardless of my if I have heard a note of what they are about to offer to me, I’m interested why you ask quite simply over the years wales has been a strong feeder system of giving Britain some great bands, from funeral for a friend to kids in glass houses, skindred, stereophonics, the blackout and many more, I don’t know what it is about wales perhaps people are inspired by the beautiful landscapes of wales, but it sure does give us some amazing artists and bands,
Glass waves don’t disappointment with their new single do it again packed with melody and stunning tones, the track reminds a little bit of an band called kids in glass houses, it feels a bit like a track those guys would have laid down, and TBH I really like this do it again, put this on in your car put down the window and let this amazing track out, without questioning the guys take influence from some of their country’s past and present bands, this is for fans of don broco, bring me the horizon

My thoughts
It’s always nice when you are caught off guard by something and you can come away from it with excitement and sheer joy in what you have witnessed and I am pleased to say that exactly what’s happened with devil in the details, their upcoming album The Hell You Wanted does just that.
I was handed this album to listen to by a friend of mine from my town and knowing his musical taste can be a bit more on the heavier side then mine I was sceptical about this listening to this album if I would truly enjoy it, I did not just enjoy it I loved it the album offers a perfect blend of melodic sounds as well as crossing over to slightly heavier tones. This is an album for fans of Bring me the horizon and Architects. Personally. I think this album sounds like its already ahead of the latest work from the bands I have mentioned, it’s an album park with melodic hooks and crushing guitars.
This really is an album that is a late comer in this year list, but this will easily squeeze its way onto your 2020 playlist a huge favourite of Setting The Tone.
All the best guys with the release hopefully see you on UK soil soon.

EP 37 Dead By Wednesday SOS single review
Sunday Oct 11, 2020
Sunday Oct 11, 2020
Brand new epsoide out now Dead By Wednesday New Single SOS out Now
DEAD BY WEDNESDAY is:
Steve Alvarez - Vocals
Opus - Drums
Mike Modeste - Bass
Dave Sharpe - Guitar
Connecticut-based metal band DEAD BY WEDNESDAY has revealed a video for the crushing new track “S.O.S.,” the first single to feature new vocalist Steve Alvarez.
The video, directed by Alex Vazquez/AVArtdigital, is available today, exclusively via Metal Insider at https://www.metalinsider.net/video/video-premiere-dead-by-wednesday-s-o-s. The single is also available now at DEAD BY WEDNESDAY’s Bandcamp page at https://deadbywednesday.bandcamp.com/track/s-o-s.
“S.O.S” is a throwback to the angst-ridden roots of early DEAD BY WEDNESDAY releases like Democracy is Dead and The Killing Project while channeling the today’s frustration with the state of the world. “We are legitimately pissed,” says drummer Opus. “Frustrations are high for musicians, as well as most people around the world, and we use our music as an outlet. That's why it really sounds angry - because we are! We've also come to realize who we are as a band during this unwanted time off, so we went deep and heavy! It's fast, lean and mean - perfect for the times.”
With the current struggles as not only Americans but as humans of this world, the message of “S.O.S.” encapsulates the general outcry for help from all people. With both money and the media running the world, DEAD BY WEDNESDAY felt a message needed to be sent to the people that this is a turning point in history.
“’S.O.S.’ also shows brotherhood among different races,” Opus says. “It has a strong message. I believe this tune will not only attract a whole new audience, but I also feel like this will please some of the old school DEAD BY WEDNESDAY fans as well.”
“S.O.S.” was produced and mastered by Nick Bellmore (Dee Snider, Jasta) at Dexter's Lab Studios, Milford, CT.
Established in 2006, DEAD BY WEDNESDAY quickly caught the attention of Hatebreed’s Jamey Jasta, who went on to release their debut through his Stillborn Records label. The band has released one EP and four full-length albums, including Darkest of Angels (EMP Label Group), which featured an impressive list of guest vocalists. The quartet’s latest release, the self-titled Dead By Wednesday, was released last year via the newly revamped Combat Records, a division of EMP.
Opus and guitarist Dave Sharpe, who also serve as touring members of Megadeth bassist Dave Ellefson’s solo band, will once again join forces with Ellefson for three “End of Days 2020” festival dates with Saliva, A Killer's Confession, The Crowned and many more.
End of Days 2020 dates:
Friday, October 30 – San Antonio, TX @ Sunset Station
Saturday, October 31 – Slidell, LA @ Brown's Village Plaza
Sunday, November 1 – Seabrook, TX @ Barge 295

I’m not right was a track that did not gel with me straight away, I had to give this a few listens. However, on the third listen I found myself really starting to enjoy the track.
Its kind of like motionless in white meets Korn. with the early stages of the song meeting Motionless in whites’ vocals style and then korns guitar sound. A track that is heavy in sound and a great hook in the chorus a band worth keeping an eye as they are likely to come across the pound on a big support.

EP 35 BlackTree VulturesThe Unforeseen single review
Friday Sep 11, 2020
Friday Sep 11, 2020
Brand new Episode from setting the tone out now
BLACK TREE VULTURES
THE UNFORESEEN out 25 September
Formed in early 2017 by Jonno Smyth (Drums) and Aaron ‘Ham’ Hammersley (Guitar), Black Tree Vultures set out to combine their classic metal influences with a modern edge, to play to an audience ranging from seasoned metal veterans to new rock lovers. After recruiting Celyn Beynon (Vocals) to front the band, writing and recording began on their debut EP “Sanity Isn’t Perfect”. This was released on BTV records via plastic head media in February 2018.
The band crafted a strong live set and immediately took to the road, playing towns such as Oxford, Birmingham, Southampton & Colchester. Receiving great receptions wherever they went the band landed their first main support slot for Snake charmer a few weeks before their debut E.P was released. Continuing to play live around the UK, Black Tree Vultures have supported the likes of Diablo Blvd, Bigfoot, and Ryders Creed. The band soon found themselves in Europe to play live in Holland, Germany and Belgium. This included a Headline spot at the Dutch festival “Wolluk-Stock”.
Thanks to the support of the BTV fans, the band were voted to play at a Hard Rock Hell battle of the bands in August 2018 turning heads and securing more gigs for the future. Here they met ‘Ched’ Cheeseman who, after standing in on Bass, later went on to become a full time member completing the current line-up.
2020 saw them write and record their four-track EP 'lll' which will be released February 2021 alongside producer Will Maya (The Answer) in Los Rosales Studios in Spain.
They also signed up with booking agents Roulette Media and have already been confirmed for Teddy Rocks festival, HRH Ibiza, Love Rocks and Lindos Rocks in Greece.
Summer 2020, saw Black Tree Vultures sign up with Iron Road Talent management and they are already planning things behind the scenes for when live performances return!
Somethings, Covid-19 just can't stop!
Brit hard rockers BLACK TREE VULTURES set to drop brand new video 'THE UNFORESEEN' on September 21st ahead of the official single release on September 25th! The new EP 'III' is set for release, February 12th 2021.
The single boasts heavy riffs, crushing grooves, huge hooks and is the first instalment of three singles from their upcoming EP 'III' - which will be released early next year. Having worked on their previous release with Grammy nominated producer Romesh Dodangoda, Black Tree Vultures wanted to expand on their sound and took the new EP to Spain to work alongside producer Will Maya (The Answer) in Los Rosales Studios.
Whilst 2020 has been a write off for some, BTV have been proactive behind the scenes signing with booking agents, Roulette Media and have already been confirmed for Teddy Rocks festival, HRH Ibiza, Love Rocks and Lindos Rocks in Greece. They have also signed with Iron Road talent management and performed on the Iron Road live @ your social bubble event which was streamed on July 18th and was extremely successful. BTV have gone from strength to strength, gaining momentum and fans worldwide!
"This song started with the Chorus. Ched brought the riff to Aaron and Jonno and the song (though very different from what you hear today) grew from that. Originally titled ‘Black Limousine’ the lyrical content was very different, but after a tough experience I rewrote the lyrics to reflect this.
On a cloudy day on a Hill in North Dorset, amidst a break-up, I turned to a good friend for advice. They allowed me to view myself from the standpoint of someone else. In the song, I refer to a text or two I received in the middle of the break-up describing who I was and what I’d become. It made me realise that things are going to have to change and was a bit of a wakeup call! I think it's important to write and draw from experience when it comes to music as it makes it genuine and people can connect with it." - Celyn
